FISH FRY

"Fish fry is a non vegetarian Indian dish containing battered fried fish.It can be done in deep oil fry or shallow oil fry. The specialty of a fish fry is... it can be accompanied with any dishes to make it complete..."

INGREDIENTS:

Fish -----------------------4-5 pieces
Redchilli powder------- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder--------1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder----1 tsp
Lime Juice-----------------1 tsp
Salt--------------------------to taste
Oil---------------------------to toast or fry

METHOD OF PREPARATION:
  1. Peel cut and wash fish several times and keep it aside by adding a pinch of salt and half tsp lime juice and keep it aside for 10 minutes to remove its foul smell.
  2. In a wide bowl add turmeric, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, salt and lime juice to make it a paste like consistency.
  3. Meanwhile take the fish and wash once again in fresh water and coat the masala paste on all side and marinate it for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry or shallow fry until it turns to dark golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with chopped onions and lemon cuts..
